Eagles to honour manager at awardsThe Eagles will perform live on May 7 to honor their long-time manager Irving Azoff and his wife Shelli at the Azoff's presentation of The Spirit of Life Award.

The Azoff's will receive The Spirit Award, the City of Hope's highest philanthropic honor at Universal Studios with the Eagles performing at the Gibson Amphitheatre at the site.

Proceeds from the day will benefit lifesaving research, treatment and education programs for cancer, diabetes, HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening diseases at City of Hope.

'We are grateful and privileged to receive this year's Spirit of Life award, and are proud to help recognize the incredible work being done by researchers at City of Hope,' the Azoffs said in a statement. 'The institution's level of advanced research into finding cures for life-threatening diseases is unparalleled, and we're pleased to support its vision.'

The concert, to be emcee'd by Billy Bush, will also include Big Time Rush, Darren Criss and the Warblers, Greyson Chance and Cody Simpson.

Meanwhile over at Universal Studios, tram tours will be conducted by Kourtney, Kim, Khloe & Rob Kardashian, and Kris, Bruce, Kendall, & Kylie Jenner.

'They are a model of philanthropic commitment and an inspiration to everyone who seeks to make cancer a curable and ultimately preventable disease.'

Irving Azoff is the executive chairman of Live Nation Entertainment and chairman and chief executive of the Front Line Management group. The Azoff's have four children and live in Beverly Hills, California.
